Toby's 2nd Birthday - Scooting!

He's been playing with Ethan's Micro-T Scooter for some time - so we have got him one for this 2nd birthday which we celebrated on the weekend.

I'll post some video of them both scooting later!

Ok, so it had to be Lego Chess.. and not convinced they have grasped all the rules yet... but its a start

Added a Flickr photo sidebar

On the top right sidebar of the blog you should be able to see a little grid of the latest photos uploaded to my Flickr Photostream.

If you click on a photo it will take you to the larger version on Flickr. You can then click "all sizes" and get even larger version.

So far no UK photo printing sites are affiliated with Flickr - but I imagine it won't be long before there is.

Trying to import Wordpress posts into Blogger

So I finally managed to get BlogSync the Java app working.

But looks like I've exhausted the number of blog posts allowed in one day (about 50?) So the importer thinks its posted 600 or so - but as you can see here - there's less than 20.... (I already did a test post of 40 earlier)

Try again tomorrow....

In the meantime you can treat this as getting installments of Ethan and Toby growing up in byte-sized chunks

GMail and iPhone setup to send photos correctly

Still to do:

(hopefully using new Blogger Import tool)

Mobile WordPress

So I'm trying to use the mobile WP client. Yesterday I wrote a long entry about why and how I was moving back to blogger for the Pinnell family blog.

Obviously the AI kicked in in the client software and crashed to app launcher rather than let me post the entry. However, when I restarted client it told me it was recovering the post - great. Not. Whenever I tried to post it, it crashed again. And thanks to Apple no cut and paste to save my entry somewhere.

Better stop now and see whether we get a crash with this post!

Mending Bones

I've been back to the hospital to get a full round plaster cast - which also now goes above my knee.

Definately a bit tricky to get round now....

Went to nursery today - staying in the baby room for the 3 weeks I'm meant to have this cast on. Lots of things to play with which I can get to from floor height :)

 

Anyway, I'll let you know how I'm getting on later!

Not a great way to start the New Year...

Toby arriving back from A&E this morning after breaking his leg. Known as a 'Toddler's Fracture' or Spinal Fracture (Tibia). Was attempting to step onto a slidy plastic stool from backdoor step... doh!
